Woke up to another dusting of snow.
Great News! It sounds like we might have help for Daniel. Kelli Rohrig with Limbs for Liberty sent me an application along with a link to Protez Foundation. Hopefully between the two of them we can get him some help!
Since everyone besides Ruslan, Nazar and myself, went to visit with family, the 3 of us headed to Lviv. We made a couple quick stops to say hello to some of Ruslan’s family in Lutsk. When we stopped at his Aunt’s I gave her a couple gifts for taking such good care of us last time. I thanked her again for the wonderful raspberry jam she gave me last trip. I should have known better, she wouldn’t let me leave without 3 more jars of her jam. I have to admit, it’s the best jam I have ever had! We arrived Lviv and grabbed some lunch. As we walked around town and saw the hustle and bustle of daily living, it was hard to believe we were still in a country that is at war. Nazar loves a clean van, so we stopped at the car wash to clean things up. We also needed to do some shopping and ended up at the same shopping center Solomon and I picked up the dryer my first trip to Lviv almost a year ago. It brought back a lot of memories. Met up with Lee Fowkes to hand off the Solar Generators. Power seems to be more consistent now, but good to have as a back up, especially if he relocates to Odessa. Grabbed some dinner with Lee and got to catch up. Alex caught back up with us after dinner. We will pick up the rest of the team tomorrow morning at Lyubomir’s parents house before we head for the border.
