On the road by 6:00am headed to Ternivka. Arrived Ternivka to attend church. It was a packed house with over 300 refugees attending. Ninety percent of the displaced refugees in the area came from Nazar and Sasha’s home place of Toshkivka, which is currently occupied by the Russians. One of the ladies attending church today has 9 children, seven serving in the Ukrainian military. Three of her children have been wounded and are in the hospital, the other 4 are on the frontlines, That is a huge load for one mother to carry. I was asked again to speak in church. I talked about Shadrach, Meshach and Abendago being thrown into the fiery furnace and not being alone. The Son of God was with them. I testified that the people of Ukraine are not alone. The Savior is with them in this fiery furnace. He brings peace and hope! After church we distributed food bags to the refugees. The church prepared and served us a nice lunch. As we were waiting for lunch, Ivan pointed out a box from Boise, Idaho. On my inspection of the box, I realized the weight written was my handwriting. What are the odds?…that one day last October, I helped in Boise writing weights on a few dozen boxes and one would end up in the church we decided to visit in Ternivka, Ukraine. You can’t make this stuff up! After lunch we begin our drive westward. On our way back through Dnipro we drove past the residential apartment building that was struck by a missile less than two months ago, killing 47 people including children! This is absolute Terrorism!
“On 14 January 2023 at about 3:30 p.m., a Russian Kh-22 missile struck a nine-story residential building in Dnipro, Ukraine, on Naberezhna Peremohy St, 118, Sobornyi District in the right-bank part of the city, destroying one entrance and 236 apartments. Wikipedia”
From Dnipro we headed back to Oleksandriia and said goodbye to Sasha’s Son,Serge before continuing onto Kyiv. Arrived Kyiv to air raid sirens.
