Catching up with the Kachenkos

This is Kachenko Family. They have fled from one of the most bombarded cities in the Ukraine, Chernihiv. They woke up to bombs at 5 am on the first day of the attacks. They spent more than a week in makeshift bomb shelters. Then had a miraculous window open to leave to Lviv. After harrowing day they arrived in Lviv. They spent this morning walking more than 6 hours to get over the border and came up to us as they arrived at the Refugee Center asking for transportation. We drove with them for 3 hours to Karkow and thanks to donations from awesome people are finally able to get a peaceful night of sleep.
