Medical Supplies

When all the medical supplies were donated, we had one gentleman donate an orange box of military supplies. We thought we might leave it behind because we weren’t sure how we would get it to the front lines. After the sweet agent at Delta said we could check all our extra boxes for free, we decided to bring the military supplies after all.

Flight from Amsterdam to Warsaw, my brother sits next to 3 Ukrainian gentleman who were returning home from work abroad to fight for their country. My brother asked if they would like the supplies. Emphatic YES! When we handed them the supplies they said thank you and each of them gave us a hug. It was hard to hold back tears when the youngest of the three (tallest) gave me a hug because I knew he wasn’t any older than my boys.

Also gave the ten boxes of medical supplies to a group that is driving them, by ambulance down to Lviv, Ukraine and pass them off to another group who will take them to the front lines. They were going to send me pictures of each pass off to final destination. I will share as they come in.
